The incoming radicalized Muslim majority in Pakistan has it roots into the main stream political partieswhich have always remained strong in the rural areas or the places with low literacy rate such as Peshawar or Baluchistan .Jimat Islami and Jamiat- ulema-Islam are the biggest example of Islamic political party and the both above mentioned parties are now a part of an alliance called MMA OR Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal.These parties grew from the informal funding of the religious and Jihadi groups injected by USA and Pakistan in
1980 against Soviet.
Against the role of a main stream political party that it was to be supposedly played.MMA kept the bed warm with the militant outfit by engaging in Jihadi politics and also by providing an effective political platform as a result of which many militant commanders who fought in Kashmir and AGAINST USSR were elected to the assemblies

These parties strived very hard to win the major seats cause they believed that Political win would be a boost like no other which will help them triumph over the moderate and secular segments of the society The Islamist that found the way into the assemblies abused their political powers to close the movies as well as co-education apart from many things as they considered it a relic of the the western influence that was leaved behind by the Britishers,and to some extent these policies also paved way to the (rumored) failed agenda of curbing the women education altogether (as.stated by zaid hussain in the book called PAKISTAN BEYOND THE CRISIS STATE.)

Hisbah law:

the month of July 2005 saw the lights of the highly controversial Hisbah law . It wasenvisioned that a religious police would be created that would make sure that people would respect the calls to prayers , wont engage in commerce at the time of the Friday prayersand make sure that the interaction between single man or woman is near to nil .The bill also called for segregation in education(separate seating for women); making Hijab (scarf) compulsory for women; ultrasound of women to be done by female doctors; prohibition on male coaches training women athletes; closing down of cinemas and cable networks;and replacement of trousers and shirts with salwar and kameez as school uniform(as stated by a report which can be viewed at www.mrt-rrt.gov.au/ArticleDocuments/100/pak30768.pdf.aspx). This law was never implemented as it was not only against the moderate thinkers of Islam but also against the constitution of Pakistan, if this policy had been in effect it would have been to the nearest thing to the talibanization of the whole society how ever the similar measures taken by the MMA resulted in the highly favorable environment for the extremist that advocated the use of force and later many of the activist from these parties especially from the JUI broke from party to form a militant organization TTP (TEHRIK TALIBAN PAKISTAN ) .Since they were the the only party that was allowed to operate in FATA

JUI and Afghani taliban

Till the 1980 and 1990 the Jihadi movements were not as global like that of arab salafits .Their objectives more or less the epic reflection of what the Pak military establishment wanted:Bits of firewoks in kashmir and of course the formation of pustun goverment in the Afghanistan .In the mid 1990 Jui was heavily invloved with the regime change in the Afghanistan. Thousands of Afghani and Pakistani students who formed the basic entity of the Taliban conquered the Kabul in 1996.This phenomenon boosted the morale of many other militants organisation such as Jaish-Muhammad and lashkar-e-Jhangvi to name a few.Almost all the important leaders of the TTP came from the ranks of JUI such asBaitullah Mehsud,hafiz Gull bahadur,Mullah nazir etc

The gifts of the JI:

There were( may be are)many JI member who were involved with the Al Qaeda giving this group a new depth into the Pakistan .This group that waspolitacally and idealogically motivated aligned more it self to terminate the forces of Pakistan as the Pakistani goverment moved it face more towards the the America .Here are the imporants bullets to simplfy and signify the impact JI has on the radicalizing the enviroment of Pakistan

• Jundullah (Army of God) was the prime example of the ever morphing face of Al Qaeda. Ata-ur-rehaman son a highly prosperous businessman was the man behind its creation and was captured in the 2004 on the crimes of masterminding a string of attacks agaisnt the pak security forces and establishment .This guy was a former affliate of Islami -jamiat-e-talba the student wing of JI
• The formation of this group took place after many high ranking personals of the Al qaeda were captured by the Pakistani agencies which also included Khalid Sheik Muhammad .

• This group alarmed the establishment after a highly spectacular raid on a high ranking army officer in karachi which forced some 11 people to the afterlife
• Arshad Waheed his brother Akmal Waheed the formar a very well known orthopaedic running his own hospital and a very active member of the JI while the latter was a neurosurjeon .After the us invation Arshad waheed moved to kandahar to help taliban overcoming medical problems .After coming back to pakistan he again stared to preaching the people about the war of Afghanistan and mobilized them to come to Jihad .He was a severe critic of the islamist political parties for seeking to gain power through the ballet and joined the Jundullah
• According to investigations the the doctors had a close relation with the Al Qaeda group and they provided them with logistic support .After their arrest JI ran a very intense program for their release
• In 2003 Khalid Sheikh Muhammad the was principal architect of the 9/11 attack, World Trade Center 1993 bombings, the Operation Bojinka plot, an aborted 2002 attack on the U.S. Bank Tower in Los Angeles, the Bali nightclub bombings, the failed bombing of American Airlines Flight 63, the Millennium Plot, and the murderer of Daniel Pearl was found from the house of the leader of the parties woman wing in the cantt area of rawalpindi
• In JAN 2003 two Al Qaeda operatives after a breif shoot out were nabbed from the house of an other leader of the party's woman wing
• In 2003 the securities agencies arrestes khawaja javed and his brother for providing a shelter to an Al qaeda operative both were associated with JI

Conclusion

Pakistan is my country and my blood and the truth is that i cant jus let it die out like a dia in the open wind where the flame withers slowly as if anticipating when the final blow will be. We are the first and the last line of defence and we must prevail in this difficult times not only for us but also for the future generations to whom we own a better world
